Milwaukee Lines (Final Cut)

Here is the Final Cut version of my movie, Milwaukee Lines. A while back I saw a film named, “Market Street”, by a filmmaker named Tomonari Nishikawa, he had made a 16mm, Black & White, silent film of lines in the streets of San Francisco. His film made a big impression on me and I knew that I wanted to make my own version of this kind of film. I did not want to make a copy or a remix but instead make my very own film with the lines I see every day to and from school in Milwaukee, WI. I hope you enjoy, thank you for watching.

Rough Clip # 2 (POV)

POV is my attempt at making a semi- surrealist voyeur movie. The pipe represents more of a telescope to what the mysterious eye in the movie sees. The voyeur aspect of this is the audience watching, the unknown eye which is watching the display through the pipe, which everyone sees. I think the wind chimes go along nicely with the quick images. Enjoy the show.

Rough cut # 3 (The Great Tree)

The idea behind this video is to show the audience a new way of looking at a tree that is being cut to pieces. This was an interesting discovery for me and I knew one of my movies should be about this Special tree, I still don't know what drew me to it. Enjoy.
